Today sees the start of the 2018 Ten Rater IRSA World Championships in Biblis Germany.
Two years in the planning our German hosts hope that this event will build on the success of Lake Garda in 2016 where the 10R Class held its first WC for a while. Early signs are that the bumper entry (54 skippers) will be in for a treat! Although different conditions to the windy 2016 event, this years event may give the usual suspects a run for their money with designs, and skippers, optimised for lighter conditions coming to the fore.
There will be plenty of FaceBook and Web updates via the official channels, but don’t forget to look on social media for your favourite skippers who will no doubt be posting their own thoughts…

Following on from this will be the Marblehead Worlds at the same venue; the GBR has over 20 skippers in this and hopes are high for some good results.
