Fog Fog was what the skippers could only see when looking out over the reservoir. PRO Roger Stollery decided to reduce the North course and move buoys and relay course to the car park and reduce in length due to visibility. Hugh McAdoo and Martin Crysell together with Janet Veal made up the Guildford race team. 2 seeding heats were organised and eventually sailed after a delay of an hour to wait for wind and fog to clear.
Both conditions did not improve during the day and one fleet was organised to ease waiting time and eventually 6 races were completed.
it was decided to stop following a skippers meeting due to fog density increasing and the windward mark of the startline was disapearing In the fog.
