Guys, a very good southerly breeze at last and worth waiting for. Tried out the new racing system tonight driven by the need to be more safety conscious and all growing a bit old to be up to the neck in water turning the yachts.
We put in two new poles at the west side of the Dam and sailed the yachts one way recorded the first boat by the line turned them and changed the position of the weather and leeward positions and sailed them back, work really well.
John Gildea with his new build AVA (built by himself) (yellow yacht) won the night after a run off against Boy Harrison (Ian Thomson)
Just hope the wind is as good next Tuesday.
