Entering an Event Online (Competitor)
An online entry form (if available) will be in the MYA Racing Calendar under the relevant event. If a NoR has been issued you will find a link “View/enter online” in the end column. Click that to view the event details. On that page there will be an “Enter Event” button, click that to open the online entry form. Some online entry forms like National Championships will require payment using a credit or debit card. You card is securely processed by our payment gateway provider Stripe.
Once you submit the form you will receive an email with details of the entry information you submitted. The event organiser should email you to confirm your entry with 48 hours. Ensure you receive this confirmation, if not email them directly.
Requesting Online Entry for your Event (Clubs Only)
We encourage Clubs to use our website facilities to promote their events. We provide a quick and simple way for members to enter events online. We also promote your event by making an announcement in our news section and posting it on our Twitter and Facebook pages.
When someone enters online, the system sends the event organiser an email with the skippers name, email, MYA number, boat information, sail number and more. Not only does this make it easy to manage your entries, we also keep a record of all entries should you need them. Your online entry form will appear on your event in our event calendar.
For larger events (potentially 30 or more) we offer an online payment system where payment is made at the point of entry. This helps organisation of larger events financially and keeps a record of all online entries and payments. Funds are released to the Club through our Treasurer. There are payment processing fees of ≈ 1.5% which are passed onto the Club and must be allowed for in budgets.
